Aoki Masaki Koi Farm
Nestled in the heart of Yamakoshi, Niigata Prefecture, the birthplace of Nishikigoi, Aoki Masaki Koi Farm is a respected breeder known for producing namely High Quality Gohiki, Asagi and Hi Utsuri. Though modest in scale compared to some of Niigata’s largest farms, the koi raised here consistently stand out for their artistry and balance—making them sought after by collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
Founded and operated by Masaki Aoki, the farm spans around 25,000 m² of carefully managed ponds, where koi are nurtured with expert care. Unlike larger commercial operations, Aoki Masaki maintains a hands-on, artisanal approach to breeding.
