Koshiji Koi Farm is a long-established Japanese Koi breeder based in the Niigata region, widely known as the birthplace of Nishikigoi. The farm has built a strong reputation for producing koi that combine striking colour patterns with excellent body shape, strong health, and great potential for growth.

Koshiji is particularly admired for its Showa Koi and Kohaku Koi, two of the most popular and traditional Japanese Koi varieties. Their Showa are recognised for deep sumi (black) combined with vibrant red and clean white, while their Kohaku are prized for their simplicity, balance, and bold red markings. In addition, Koshiji also breeds other classic Japanese Koi varieties, offering hobbyists a wide selection of high-quality koi to choose from.
